If Halifax was a person, it would be a long-time friend that you're always happy to see and catch up with over a bevvy or two. And with the brand-new Halifax Convention Centre now open and hosting high-profile events, there's never been a better time to revisit one of Canada's friendliest cities. Halifax is a small city with a big city feel and warm, welcoming Maritime hospitality. Not to mention the opportunity to feast on great seafood! E A S Y C O N N E C T I O N S As a major Atlantic hub, Halifax is easily accessible with numerous direct flights from major Canadian cities. The Halifax Stanfield International Airport is only a 30-minute drive from the downtown core. Native Haligonians like to say that "you're only 100 steps from the ocean"—and that's true! The downtown core of the city is compact, easily accessible and lively with bars, cafes, restaurants and entertainment. The Tall Ship Silva does daily cruises for groups just steps from the boardwalk that connects the city with the ocean. The popular walkway is bursting with a myriad of shops, boutiques and The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic to visit and explore. It culminates at the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market, featuring great local food and products. HALIFAX HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA
