style of the Royal Palms Resort and
Spa is a welcoming oasis that dates
back to 1929, when it was the winter estate of
a New York industrialist. Part of The Unbound
Collection by Hyatt, the residential feel of the
119 well-appointed guest rooms, casitas and
villas is carried into the 20,000 sq. ft. of flexible
indoor and outdoor event space that includes
patios, courtyards and gardens with Camelback
Mountain views.
The Royal Palms' award-winning Alvadora Spa
has eight treatment rooms and offers several
wellness-focused programs, including gong
therapy sessions in partnership with Metta Yoga.
A form of sound therapy promoting physical,
mental and emotional healing through brain-
wave stimulation, participants rest on yoga mats
while the therapeutic vibration from gongs and
singing bowls move over them, the volume and
intensity fluctuating throughout the session.
