Kick off your Rocky Mountain meetings with a cowboy-inspired excursion in Banff National Park, starting with a relaxing horseback ride with Banff Trail Raiders along the Bow River, spying wildlife and breathtaking mountain peaks along way. Invigorated by the fresh air and majestic views, groups will relish a hearty meal at Mount View Barbecue—in-house aged Alberta beef served inside rustic roundhouses or at long-table dinners outdoors with panoramic mountain views. Enhance the experience with Mount View's entertainment options, including local bands, Indigenous hoop dancers or the Calgary Fiddlers. In Lake Louise, Brewster Cowboy's Barbecue and Dance Barn's decor, entertainment and hospitality create an authentic Western vibe. Delegates can indulge in the Brewster family specialty, "Hip of Beef," delivered by pitchfork to the buffet tables, and learn how to line dance. Guests of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise can enjoy a fun wagon transfer to the venue, or a magical horse-drawn sleigh ride in the winter. A WESTERN WELCOME Experience awe-inspiring 360⁰ views of six mountain ranges from the 7,486-ft. summit of Sulphur Mountain. Groups can ride the Banff Gondola to the top, taking in the majesty of the snow-capped peaks and stunning Bow Valley below, and then hike along the interpretive Boardwalk or mountain ridge. End the day with an impressive, top-of-the-world dinner at Sky Bistro. With its sweeping, jaw-dropping vistas, locally-inspired menus and live entertainment, events are elevated to new heights. Just five minutes from downtown Banff, bucket-list adventure awaits at Mt. Norquay. Push your team outside their comfort zones on the Via Ferrata, Italian for "iron road," as they climb ladders and cross suspension bridges to scale the mountain with a certified guide. There are four routes to choose from and climbing experience is not required for this thrilling excursion. When the climb is done, delegates can celebrate their accomplishment over upscale, alpine-inspired fare. The 24,000-sq.-ft. timber-framed Cascade Lodge at the base of the mountain, offering picturesque views from floor-to-ceiling windows, is available for buyouts. Smaller groups can gather at the lift-access only Cliffhouse Bistro—at an elevation 6,900 ft., the spectacular views from here are only rivalled by the delectable cuisine.
