7 aUdain art MUseUM The eponymous gallery of Michael Audain, a BC developer, philanthropist and art collector, is currently under construction and is scheduled to open early in 2016. The gallery, nestled in a grove of spruce trees, will house his extraordinary art collection including the works of Emily Carr, Lawren Harris, Northwest Coast masks, Andy Warhol and Jeff Wall. sqUaMish lil'Wat CUltUral Centre A vibrant display of Canadian aboriginal heritage combined with a gorgeous Whistler seing tells the story of the two original cultures in the valley. This purpose- built centre showcases a full sensory experience through art, exhibits, food, film and live performances, while four distinct areas in the museum offer corporate groups indoor and outdoor event space. The Great Hall, a Squamish Longhouse, Lil'wat Istken (an earthen dwelling) or the beautiful mezzanine patio with a fire pit and breathtaking views of Blackcomb Mountain can host groups of up to 700 with ease. roUndhoUse lodge At 6,000 feet above sea level, the Roundhouse Lodge upper level offers 15,000 sq. . of function space on top of Whistler Mountain, with 360-degree valley views, complete with outdoor terrace.
