April Brunet, vice-president of sales and
marketing for the group, based in NOTL, says
the destination has it all—from culinary and
vineyard experiences and the charm of quaint
downtown Main Street and the Shaw Festival,
to the teambuilding adrenalin rush of jet boat
rides on the Niagara River. "In every season
there is something for a group to participate
in, from cycling the Niagara Parkway in spring
and gol—ng in the summer, to skating at Fort
George in the winter, we can accommodate
any request."
The bounty of the Niagara Escarpment's lush
farm produce and vineyards makes the culinary
experience in NOTL so memorable. When
planners have their meeting at Vintage Hotels,
the group can dine at any of their hotels or free-
standing restaurants and charge it back to the
master account. Brunet adds, "when
groups stay multiple nights, they usually
like to have at least one winery experience.
We have winery partners, such as Château
des Charmes, Reif Estate Winery, Stratus
Vineyards and Konzelmann Estate Winery,
so we can certainly orchestrate those events
for clients."
