2 | Ignitemag.ca | Ignite Destination Supplement A LUXURY PROPERTY inspired by its captivating desert surround- ings in the foothills of Pinnacle Peak, the AAA Five-Diamond Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North takes care of the small details that make the biggest impact for memorable meet- ings. One such detail is creating cus- tomized amenities that are presented in beautiful packaging, and are designed to fit with the event theme or match the individual attendee's personality or food preference. These are the things meet- ing attendees don't usually forget. "We love to create custom breaks in which the amenities are personalized per individual," says Kevin Moul, direc- tor of catering and conference servic- es, "that will make attendees or VIPs feel special and valued." A customized cookie break is one of their most pop- ular experiences, where guests choose their favourite cookie flavour and top- pings in the morning, and by afternoon break, their own personalized cookies are ready for them to enjoy. "Virtually anything is possible. The more creative and more imaginative the request, the more we love it," says Moul. Other fun, Guests of the Andaz Scottsdale Re- sort & Spa can immerse themselves in local art and explore their own creative sides, thanks to a partner- ship with nearby Cattle Track Arts Compound and unique onsite pro- gramming at the resort. The works of local artists from Cattle Track are displayed throughout the guest rooms and property, and with the Artist-in-Residence Program, guests can learn from and be inspired by the artists through pottery classes, photography demonstrations, art in- struction and musical performances. At the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, celebrate the Southwestern Native American culture that defines the area by taking in a performance of the "dance of life"—your group will revel in this traditional hoop dance with its many animal and plant in- terpretations. For even more insight on the culture and history, guests can visit the resort's Native Ameri- can Learning Center. Customized Experiences themed break options include warm, salted pretzels and gourmet popcorn or mix-your-own trail mix and build-your- own fruit salad stations. TUCKED AWAY on the exquisite, 32- acre Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia is the Chef's Kitchen. A venue for private culinary events, it's a tranquil oasis where fresh garden scents and the soft sounds of trickling water in the fountain permeate the air. It is here that the culinary team can host exclusive Chef's Secret Garden Dinners for your group, prepared by Executive Chef Mar- cos Seville in a live demonstration for- mat that showcases the locally-sourced ingredients as well as winemakers and distilleries from across the country. Chef's Kitchen can accommodate up to 40 guests inside and 75 in the patio and garden areas.
