When I assumed the role of SITE Canada President in January, the months ahead looked bright and full of promise, and it truly has been an incredible year. I'd like to start by thanking our Board of Directors and all of our members for entrusting me with t his role in 2017; it has been such an amazing experience working with all of you! I have had the opportunity to connect with a good number of you at our events throughout the year and it has been a pleasure getting to know you and learning about what is mo st valuable to you as a member. Our accomplishments as a Chapter have been plentiful: we've donated thousands of dollars to charities supporting Indigenous Canadians, children in sports and ECPAT International through our Spring Social and chapter meetings ; and our upcoming Holiday Social will support Red Cross efforts in helping with hurricane recovery efforts. We hosted our first live educational event in Vancouver that surpassed our expectations and we celebrated our Chapter's 30th anniversary with a bea utiful summer event.
